The case is made of chromed plastic with an amber insert covering the bulb. The bulbs on these turn signals are easily replaceable by just removing two screws. By stating they are universal, that means they aren't made for any particular make or model of motorcycle.The lights have two wires with a single element bulb and won't support running lights. They will work in a three wire configuration, but the running lights won't operate.The signals measure 5.5 inches long with a .75 inch long shaft. The shaft diameter is about 1/2 of an inch or 12mm.
